Driving Directions

From I-64 East or I-64 West

When traveling on I-64, take exit 118 onto Route 29 North, towards the Charlottesville Airport. Stay on 29 North for about 10 miles until you reach Proffit Road, following the intersection at Timberwood Boulevard. Take a right onto Proffit Road, and Martha Jefferson Hospital Health Services will be immediately on your left.

From Route 29 South:

Traveling North on Route 29 near the Charlottesville Airport, take the right onto Proffit Road, following Timberwood Boulevard. Martha Jefferson Hospital Health Services will be immediately on your left.

From Route 29 North:

Traveling South on Route 29, you will come to an intersection with Airport Road to your right and Proffit Road on your left. Take a left onto Proffit Road, and Martha Jefferson Hospital Health Services will be immediately on your left.

Laboratory Services

Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
No appointment is necessary; physician referral required.

X-ray

Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
No appointment is necessary; physician referral required.

Mammography

Monday through Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Appointments and physician referrals required.

Bone Density Testing

Monday: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 pm.
Appointments and physician referrals required.

Forest Lakes Family Medicine

Located on the main level of the Health Services building is a primary care physician office.

Recently named Best Family Doctors by Albemarle Family Magazine, Forest Lakes Family Medicine has four full-time physicians as well as a nurse practitioner.

Community Education Room

A 1,500 square-foot community education room is located on the second floor of the building. With a capacity of 80, the room is often used for special programs and screenings offered by Martha Jefferson Hospital.
